Sydney Pugmire, LMT
Independent Practitioner, Practice Owner

Picture

Sydney's appreciation for the human body runs deep, shaped by a lifetime of sports, time outdoors, singing, working, and parenting. But it was her own healing journey that truly brought her here. After years of moving and a period of real darkness, a personal awakening in her late twenties led her to recovery and, eventually, to a profound experience with bodywork that changed everything. Feeling a genuine connection with her own body for the first time was the revelation that pointed her, without question, toward massage school.

Sydney completed her 1000-hour program at The Brenneke School of Massage in 2008 and has been practicing for over fifteen years. Her style is energetic, grounding, and impactful, working through the layers of the musculoskeletal system with mindfulness and purpose meeting each body exactly where it is.

Her approach weaves together Swedish and deep tissue massage, Table Thai, active and passive techniques, and fascial engagement into a seamless, responsive practice. No two sessions are the same, because no two bodies are the same. Sydney believes that therapeutic touch, applied with skill and presence, has a profound capacity to heal, and that belief shows in her work.

At Talking Tree Massage & Bodywork, Sydney has built more than a practice. She has created a space where people genuinely feel cared for, and where the body is treated with the respect it deserves.

Sarah McCall, LMT
Independent Practitioner

Picture
Sarah McCall is a licensed massage therapist based in Seattle, WA. She completed her training at the Seattle Clinical Massage School in late 2025, where she developed a strong foundation in therapeutic technique and client-centered care.

Before transitioning into massage therapy, Sarah earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing at Lehigh University in 2024. It was during her college years that she recognized her desire for a career with a deeper human impact, one rooted in listening, presence, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies.

Sarah is drawn to modalities that address the body with both precision and care. Her areas of focus include Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release (MFR), and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), approaches that work together to support recovery, restore mobility, and meet each client's unique needs.
Sarah also holds a growing interest in Trauma Informed Massage Care and is committed to continuing her education in many different modalities to ensure that she has the tools to address the specific needs of each client.
In her free time Sarah enjoys doing pottery, finding the process to be meditative as well as an excellent creative outlet.

When not honing her massage and pottery skills, Sarah is likely to be found with her cat (and best friend), Mochi.

Aiko Kinoshita, LMT
Independent Practitioner

Picture

A Licensed Massage Therapist since 2015, Aiko came to massage after 25 years of working with bodies in motion; as a dancer, teacher and choreographer.  Still dancing, albeit at a much slower pace, and now a mother of two young children, Aiko is deeply interested in the intersection of massage, movement and somatic practices and the connections between dis-comfort, dysfunction and our habits of daily life.  She specializes in full-body wellness massage, blending Swedish and deep tissue work to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, increase range of motion and reduce pain.

Aiko works slowly and patiently, listening and taking cues from the body and integrating her intuitive sensibility around movement, touch, and muscular tone, to create space for awareness and change.  Utilizing both passive and active techniques, a session might include gentle calming strokes, Manual Ligament Therapy, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy techniques, assisted stretches, and more, depending on the client’s preferences and needs.   Aiko enjoys working with her clients at their comfort level and is honored to be part of their wellness routine.

Leah Shallow, LE
Licensed Aesthetician

Picture

Leah Shallow has been a licensed aesthetician since 2014, drawn to skincare by a deep belief that how you feel in your own skin quietly shapes everything else. A Pacific Northwest native now rooted in Montana, she brings more than a decade of hands-on experience to a full range of treatments: facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, microblading, and lash work, among others.

Her approach is attentive and unhurried. Leah takes time to understand each client's skin, their history, and their goals before she begins, and she treats every appointment as a chance to build on the last. Whether she is helping someone work through a longstanding skin concern or simply making space for them to be cared for, her focus is consistent: real results, a real relationship, and work that takes the whole person into account.

Outside the treatment room, Leah is a mom to twin boys and a teenage daughter, a lifelong lover of dance and movement, and a cheer coach who gives her free time to her community. That quality of presence and investment carries into every session.

Looking ahead, Leah hopes to build a nonprofit dedicated to bringing quality skincare services to elderly communities, because self-care and dignity should be accessible to everyone, at every age.

Nate Waldvogel, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Picture
Nathan "Nate," has been a massage therapist since 2017 and brings an intuitive, grounded approach to every session. Specializing in deep tissue massage, flow-based techniques, relaxation, and energy work, Nate focuses on releasing tension and knots while maintaining a consistent, calming rhythm throughout the massage. His pressure naturally leans firm, but he is always happy to adjust to meet each guest's comfort level and individual needs. Known for his ability to blend therapeutic depth with soothing flow, Nate creates sessions that are both effective and deeply relaxing.

Drawn to massage from a young age, Nate has always felt that his touch was something special and that this work was a natural fit for him. He feels fortunate to do something he loves and that comes intuitively, and he truly enjoys helping people through the healing power of touch.

Outside of the spa, Nate loves staying active with hiking, biking, yoga, paddleboarding, skateboarding, and kayaking, as well as playing music, attending music shows, and spending time with family and friends. Guests can expect to leave their session with Nate feeling relaxed, tension-free, and well cared for - ideally feeling like they just had the best massage they've ever received.
